Milan-based design firm Dimore Studio will design the two-storey building, according to B&O Retail, the owner of the building. Dimore Studio is known for designing high-end stores such as Fendi on Sloane Street, London; Oliver Peoples in Miami; Boglioli showroom in Milan; and the Sonia Rykiel store in Monaco.

Fendi is currently available in the Netherlands via department store de Bijenkorf and multi-brand footwear retailer Shoebaloo.

The P.C. Hooftstraat is Amsterdam’s luxury fashion destination and is currently home to brands including Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Oger, Jimmy Choo and Prada. Fashion label Isabel Marant and luxury house Hermès have also recently announced store openings on the shopping street.

An exact date for the 2018 opening, as well as information on the collections the store will carry, is yet to be announced.
