Artistic Director: Simon HallowayCollection: A collection with slender and monochromatic silhouettes made from luxurious materials. We see a lot of fluidity in this collection with revealing long tunics that give us a glimpse of a bra worn underneath and a red coat worn with its matching trouser that falls on thick soled trainers. A wide legged trouser in supple leather is paired with a super fine camel knit jumper. The designer plays with superimpositions such as a long shirt tied at the waist with a leather belt.An exotic print brings summer freshness to a sequined skirt and silk blouse.A silver wind breaker and a long poncho lined with leather present an effortless style.Amber Valletta, top model from the 90s closes this luxurious show in a timeless fashion for the brand owned by the Ermenegildo Zegna group, which specializes in knitwear and cashmere. Note: A single handled zipped bag and the fouta like a handbag. Interview :Simon Halloway : There is an artist based in the US called Joan Jonas, who’s a performance and video artist and she really came to prominence in the 1980s in a very male dominated world. And I was really interested in the idea of her as a woman who, kind of became an icon, you know, kind of against the odds you know, who had complete self-belief in her talent in her art and I was sort of fascinated by the way she dressed and the power of that. You know, this is really about day wear first and foremost on a very luxurious level for real women. I was playing with different types of layering and the idea of the suit, but taken apart and shown in different ways like a trench suit or a poncho suit or separates mixed together like a knit jacket and sweater with a pair of trousers. The idea is very simple and the looks are very redacted, very edited, but made in very earthy, warm colours and executed in the most luxurious fabrics.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
