The professional networking giant this week announced its inaugural Top Attractors of 2016. The ranking reveals where job seekers around the world want to work and where professionals want to stay.

The ranking is dominated by Apple, Saleforce, Facebook, Google and Amazon. Multi-national hygiene/cosmetics company Unilever comes in at 8th place, behind Microsoft and Uber, but before Coca-Cola. L’Oréal follows at number 17 followed by commercial real estate specialist JLL in 19th place.

A bit further on, Procter & Gamble comes in at 23, while Twitter ranks 32nd. As for Nike, it stands at number 35, closely followed by its German competitor Adidas, which placed 38.

The ranking established by LinkedIn takes four factors into account: how well-known the brands are, how much interaction their content receives, how much interest their jobs generate, and how well they retain new hires.
