The French fashion label created by David Sarfati in 2012 and based on a contemporary, seasonless approach will reach a milestone by entering the US market next spring.

A 13 Bonaparte look

13 Bonaparte is currently distributed in France, notably via its Paris flagship store, and in Japan, in some twenty stores belonging to the Edifice retail network. The label is a regular at the Paris Man trade show, where it has announced its new plans.

Among them, the creation of a 13 Bonaparte subsidiary in the USA, through a partnership with a local private investor. The brand is also planning a subsequent funding round and the start of the label's distribution in the country through a denim-focused pop-up store set to open next April on Rivington Street in New York's Lower East Side.

The other main development will be the opening of a second 13 Bonaparte store that carries the label's full range, this time in Los Angeles, where it has been tested for a year.

The 13 Bonaparte collection will be expanded in 2017 with a denim line, initially featuring men’s kimono-style jackets, trousers, sports jackets, shirts and ponchos. The brand also plans to add  women's items such as skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, blouses and trench coats. The collection will be available in Japan at the Isetan department store.

Besides expanding internationally, 13 Bonaparte will also be available in the menswear creative fashion section at Paris' Printemps Haussman department store at the end of January.
