International jewellery show Bijorhca will stage its 150th edition at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris on January 21-24. The show was first organised in 1971 by French jewellery industry association BOCI, owner of the Bijorhca brand. This anniversary edition is the second session that will be held under the aegis of WSN, organiser also of the Who’s Next fashion show, which will be staged at the same venue and on the same dates.

Bijorhca will kick off simultaneously with the Who's Next show on Friday January 21

In the exhibition centre’s hall 5.1, Bijorhca will showcase just over one hundred brands, among them regulars like Taratata, Philippe Ferrandis and Satellite, alongside a few dozen new names like Insolite Joaillerie and Les Néréides Paris.

The show’s structure remains unchanged, and will consist of the following sections: ‘Fashion’ for designer brands, ‘Trends’ for emerging labels,  ‘Précieux’ for silver and fine jewellery, and ‘Elements’, focusing on gems and technology.

The show will also feature a retrospective section, presenting among others some of the jewels that have made the history of this twice-yearly event. Another exhibition will be held in parallel with Bijorhca, called ‘Les bijoux s’expriment en or’, presenting additive manufacturing techniques like 3D printing.
