Burnett joins Celtic & Co in top product and buying role

Digital sustainable fashion brand Celtic & Co has appointed Katy Burnett as its new head of product and buying. She joins from Coast where she senior buyer for occasionwear, tailoring, footwear and accessories.

Burnett has almost 20 years’ experience in the fashion industry, including senior positions at Warehouse, Tesco's F&F and Dorothy Perkins.

Celtic & Co MD James Williams said of Burnett: “Her extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to progress with our digital first growth plans for the UK and internationally, introducing the brand to new customers.

“Katy’s appointment will allow us to further develop our range of new natural and sustainable materials, invigorating the brand while preserving our core values.”

Burnett added: “Sustainability is becoming increasingly more important in the world of fashion, though it’s something that has been woven into the DNA of Celtic & Co since day one and is one of the big things that attracted me to the brand.”

Cornwall-based Celtic & Co specialises in knitwear and sheepskin products, including slippers and boots, handmade in its factory in Newquay.
