After last year’s success, Dior is returning to Ibiza this summer with the opening of a pop-up boutique.

Dior has launched a pop-up store in Ibiza - Dior

This is the second consecutive year that the luxury brand has selected the Mediterranean island for a temporary store, which opened on 3 July and will run until the end of October.

Situated in the heart of the marina, the space showcases Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dioriviera womenswear collection alongside Kim Jones’ Autumn/Winter 2020 range, plus new season homeware styles from Dior Maison.

Visitors can find the brand’s coveted Dior Book Tote and Walk’n'Dior trainers embroidered with Toile de Jouy, plus the new Dior Around the World capsule collection, which is made up of a selection of graphic creations dressed in a camouflage motif. Other highlights include artworks by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo, personally selected by Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Currently, the French brand operates three stores in Spain, in Madrid, Barcelona and Marbella, and has three concessions at El Corte Ingles.

The pop-up opening comes hot on the heels of the Balearic islands reactivating their tourism sector in June after months of disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Christian Dior has had a direct presence in Spain since 1982, when the business established the Christian Dior Española subsidiary. The brand is ultimately owned by LVMH, which recently reported a 15% fall in sales to €10.6 billion, hurt by the coronavirus crisis. The group expects performance to recover in the second half of the year.
