The Italian fashion brand and the FC Barcelona soccer club have signed a new alliance. Over three seasons, until 2024/2025, Herno will be in charge of outfitting FC Barcelona's premier teams, including men's and women's soccer, as well as basketball. The partnership will run for a three-year period, until the 2024/2025 season, starting in January.

The Italian firm will dress FC Barcelona's players and coaching staff until the 2024/2025 season - Herno

As part of the agreement, the Barcelona players and coaching staff will wear the brand's designs during their away games in Europe and when traveling to the finals of the various competitions in which they participate. This will be the first time that the three teams share an official formal wear partner.

This is not the Barcelona club's first fashion collaboration. In the last few years, it has collaborated with major brands such as Nike to create a streetwear capsule collection, and with Thom Browne, who designed the team's official uniform for the 2018/2019 season.

Herno joins the long list of companies dressing sports teams that includes Y-3, which earlier this year created a special collection for Real Madrid on the occasion of "El Clasico", and Adolfo Dominguez, which signed an alliance with Atletico Madrid to dress its players off the field during the 2021/2022 season.

Founded more than 70 years ago by Giuseppe Marenzi and his wife Alessandra Diana on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Herno is an urban fashion brand that stands out for its use of craftsmanship and "made in Italy" production.

Today, the company is managed by Claudio Marenzi, a second-generation member of the family, who has begun the development of the brand's international expansion as well as its commitment to sustainability by introducing more eco-friendly fabrics into the brand's product range.
