Turnover rose by 2.8 % to 129.4 million euros, particularly in the second half of the year.

Gross operating profit (Ebitda) stood at 26.9 million euros, almost 6% less than the 28.6 million euros recorded in the previous year.

During 2022, the group closed 10 shops, going from having 378 shops in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece to 368 shops by the end of the year.

As a result, its average headcount fell by 6% in 2022 to 1228 employees, which is 81 less employees than in 2021.

Liwe stated that this restructuring that began in 2019 with shop closures, around the same times as the Covid-19 pandemic, has been successfully completed in all the countries in which it operates. The company is now planning to open new stores or close them on an ad hoc basis.
