Eyewear giant Marcolin has announced a strengthening in the organisation of its communications department with Roberta Viganò taking over as Marketing Communication Manager.

Marcolin/Moncler

She has extensive “experience in communications consolidated over the years in the fashion and luxury industry,” including at Bally, where she was Head of Communications & Marketing EMEA.

She’ll now be responsible for the worldwide communication activities of the group's brands, “supervising the PR, Media Planning & Buying and Digital Communication areas, with the aim of strengthening the communication strategy and presence of the brands in our portfolio at a global level”.

Based in Milan, in her new role, she’ll report directly to the Marketing, Communication & Events Director Matteo Blandi.

The company said the appointment is part of its “renewal process” that started with the arrival of Fabrizio Curci as Group CEO.

Marcolin makes eyewear for a huge portfolio of the world’s major brands. These include Tom Ford, Moncler, Skechers, Timberland, Adidas, Bally, Tod’s, Sportmax and Guess, among others, as well as its own brand.
