The Monte Carlo Fashion Week will be held on May 17-21. The event was created in 2013 by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, and has been organised since then by the Monaco Fashion Chamber that Nardoni Spinetta herself founded and currently chairs. This year, the event is under the patronage of Princess Charlène of Monaco, and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The programme for the fashion week’s five days includes conferences on circularity, sustainability, inclusivity and diversity, and presentations and runway shows dedicated to cruise collections and swimwear lines, as well as to various pre-collections and Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collections by a number of international labels. The Business of Luxury Summit organised by the Financial Times will be held on May 21-23, in parallel with the event.

This Monte Carlo Fashion Week will take place in some of the Principality’s most iconic venues: the museum of the car collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco will host the runway shows in its new setting at Port Hercule; the Grimaldi Forum, with its distinctive glass canopy, will be home to the Fashion Awards ceremony; and the Monaco Yacht Club will be the base for the Fashion Hub, home to showrooms, conferences staged in partnership with the International University of Monaco, and the Financial Times symposium.

As it has done in recent years, Monte Carlo Fashion Week will pay special attention to ethical and sustainable fashion. The event will support, as always, the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation, engaged in initiatives to raise awareness about the risk of drowning among the general public and children.
