Parmigiani Fleurier has launched its special edition Tonda 1950 watch made in partnership with Paris boutique, Colette and artist, André Saraiva.
The collaboration collection consists of eleven graphic-infused pieces featuring the words, ‘New York,’ ‘Paris’ and ‘Love’ written in Saraiva’s popular typeface.
The ‘New York’ watches feature the name of the city written in blue, red, and a combination of both colors over a white or black face. The ‘Paris’ and ‘Love’ watches are also available in white and black faces with the words written in blue or red.
The watches are available with a brushed red galuchat strap or a boa strap with scales that have hints of black and midnight blue. Each piece in the collection is one of a kind.
The Tonda 1950 watch launched in 2011 and is a slender watch only 30mm in diameter and 2.6mm thick. The movement and entire watch exterior are created entirely in-house.
The Special Edition Tonda 1950 watch is available for $19’900 euros for the male collection and $23’300 for the female collection.
