Tuesday, March 19, the Guerlain fashion house revealed French actress and filmmaker Sonia Rolland as its new makeup and fragrance ambassador. The former Miss France will feature in the luxury label's upcoming campaigns.

French actress Sonia Rolland -- a long-standing supporter of several charitable causes -- has been named as Guerlain's latest brand ambassador.

Actress Sonia Rolland notably starred in the French TV show "Léa Parker" for several years, before branching out to the big screen. She has starred in films such as Bertrand Tavernier's "The French Minister" ("Quai d'Orsay") and Amanda Sthers' "Madame." The star, who actively supports various humanitarian causes, founded the Maïsha Africa charity organization with her mother in 2001, dedicated to helping children in Africa, in Rwanda, in particular.

Sonia Rolland will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her Miss France win in 2020.
