In the role, Bahri will oversee StockX’s brand, marketing, content and design teams and will drive StockX’s overarching consumer-facing strategy, the company said.

Bahri comes to StockX from the personal genomics company, Helix, where she served as CMO for the past two years. Prior to Helix, she has held a variety of executive positions throughout the consumer sector, including roles as vice president of marketing and CMO at Birchbox; senior director of marketing at Gilt Groupe; director of marketing at Reebok International; and CMO at food and beverage company, Juicero.

Bahri joins StockX as it continues to build success within the start-up community, receiving a valuation of over $1 billion this past June.

Founded in 2016 by Josh Luber, Greg Schwartz and Dan Gilbert, the streetwear-focused online marketplace has used the millions of dollars in funding it has received over the years to expand internationally to the U.K. and Europe; open multiple international authentication centers; and set up plans to open its first permanent brick-and-mortar location in New York City.

"StockX has seen such incredible growth in its three-year history -- the platform has quickly scaled into the largest of its kind globally," Bahri said in a press statement.

"The revolutionary nature of the model and the impact the brand has had on the industry were, in large part, what drew me to the position. I'm excited to continue to build on the foundation laid by our very talented brand, marketing, design and content teams and to find new, innovative ways to tell the StockX story to an ever-growing audience."

Bahris’ addition to the company’s executive team follows the appointment of Scott Cutler as StockX CEO in June of this year.
