50 years ago, Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon, a historic event which will be celebrated around the world on July 20 – or July 21 depending on the time zone. The North Face is getting a head start on these five-decade festivities with an outdoor capsule collection.

Dubbed "Lunar Voyage," the collection channels themes of exploration and the overcoming of limitations with reflective logos and a premium monochrome aesthetic. The capsule is built around iconic The North Face pieces, including the short, padded Nuptse jacket, the multi-pocketed Denali Fleece, and the more classic Mountain M Q.

A selection of bags and accessories rounds out the anniversary collection, which will be available to purchase from July 17 in select The North Face stores, as well as on the brand's e-commerce website.
