British fashion label Florence + Fred continues its global expansion as it opens its 100th franchise store. The new store is located near Reykjavik, and is the company's fifth franchise store in Iceland.

The retailer said the store, which will sell womenswear, menswear and kidswear, represents a significant milestone for F&F’s franchise programme. The store is opening together with F&F's local partner, Hagkaup.

Richard Collins, CEO of F&F said: "We’re really excited Hagkaup is opening the fifth F&F store in Iceland and the 100th F&F franchise store so far. The fact we have franchise partners in 15 different countries has meant we’ve been able to learn a great deal from each market and adapt our strategy to suit the needs of customers. We hope customers in Iceland enjoy F&F’s range of affordable fashion and look forward to building on the success we’ve had with the franchise programme so far."

Hagkaup Managing Director, Gunnar Ingi Sigurdsson said: "We are very happy to be partnering with F&F. The collection we offer with our F&F partnership has been a great success in the Icelandic market. Our aim is to make the F&F brand the biggest affordable fashion brand in Iceland in the next twelve months and we are well on the way to achieving that."

F&F also has franchise stores in countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, UAE, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Gibraltar, Iceland, Malta, Philippines, Vietnam, Switzerland, the USA, and Germany.
