French fashion label Zadig & Voltaire is heading for Latin America, and it has chosen the Argentine market for its first retail presence in the region. The label will set up shop inside Alcorta Shopping, a shopping mall in the capital, Buenos Aires, where it will open its first store next May.

In the second half of 2017, Zadig & Voltaire strengthened its presence on the domestic market by inaugurating an 850 m2 flagship store in Paris, on rue Cambon and rue de Rivoli. This flagship adds to the fifteen other stores operated by the label in the French capital.

Zadig & Voltaire recently broadened its international footprint with two other openings. In September 2017, the label inaugurated its 43rd store in the USA, in New York’s Soho district, and at the end of the year, in December, it opened its sixth store in Belgium on Louise avenue, in Brussels.

Zadig & Voltaire was founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, the nephew of André Gillier, co-founder of Lacoste. The Paris-based label currently operates a network of more than 300 stores worldwide, across 28 countries in Europe, North America, Oceania, Asia and the Middle East. It also sells its products online in over 30 countries.
