The German online fashion giant has launched Zalando Fulfillment Solutions, a service designed to allow fashion labels to benefit from the e-tailer's European logistics capabilities.

The new service integrates the other tools Zalando already puts at the disposal of its clients, via its Brand Solutions and Media Solutions services. Fulfillment Solutions will allow partner brands to let Zalando take care of order handling, merchandise delivery and returns, eventually cutting down delivery time for the orders that flow through the website.

Zalando currently operates eight logistics hubs in Europe, four of them in Germany and two each in northern Italy and in France. Nike, Tommy Hilfiger and Weekday are already using this network.

Zalando claims more than 200 million monthly visits to its online marketplace. In the first quarter 2017, 68% of this online traffic came from mobiles, for a total of 20.4 million active customers at the end of the period. Last year, Zalando generated sales for €3.6 billion, and forecasts it will reach €7.6 billion by 2020.
